La Leche League of Bend
La Leche League provides support and information to women who choose to breastfeed. Contact local Leader Katie Boone 541-317-5912 for breast-feeding support and meeting times.
Awake Parent
Shelly Phillips M.A. has studied child development for the past 15 years. She is passionate about Montessori education, conscious parenting, attachment parenting and all connection based parenting approaches. Her website www.awakeparent.com/blog provides information about the latest research, attachment parenting practices, and Montessori philosophies that are easy to understand and implement. Parenting with Spirit
The Parenting with Spirit group offers a book group, social gatherings, spiritual parenting circles and more! The group focuses on nurturing the spirit of parents and helping parents to nurture the spirit of their children. We welcome people of all belief systems in an atmosphere of peace and respect. Deschutes Public Library

High Desert Museum
Wednesdays Nature Walk: 9:30 a.m. Join a Museum naturalist for a leisurely, half-mile trail walk, observing wildflowers, birds and other wildlife that live the Museum’s forests. Binoculars and field guides provided. Contact the museum for more information about this & other events.
